Bio:
(Ph.D., Michigan State University, organizational strategy and human resource management) focuses on global and strategic human resource management. He has authored or edited over forty books including Strategic Human Resource Management: A Reader, International Human Resource Management 3ed., Managing Human Resources through Strategic Partnerships, 8ed. (with S.E. Jackson); Cases in Managing Organizations and People, 6ed., La gestion de los Recursos Humanos, Managing Human Resources 6ed., La gestion des Ressources Humaines au seuil de l’an 2000, Internationales Personal Management, and Managing Job Stress. In addition, he has contributed over forty chapters to reading books and has published over one hundred articles in professional journals and academic proceedings. Presently, he is on the editorial boards of Organizational Dynamics, Journal of World Business, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Human Resource Planning, Human Resource Management, The International Journal of Human Resource Management, Asia Pacific Journal of Human Resources, Journal of Occupational Behavior, Journal of International Management, Journal of International Management Reviews, and Journal of Market-Focused Management. He is past Editor of the Human Resource Planning Journal. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
